TheTreeHouse is a brand new group from Fizzytree Theatre, created for primary-aged children with additional needs. Sessions use drama, imaginative play and movement to help children build confidence, communication and everyday life skills in a safe, nurturing environment. There is no pressure to perform, children are encouraged to join in in their own way and at their own pace.
Groups are limited to up to 10 children, allowing us to keep sessions supportive and inclusive. Sessions are gently structured but flexible, allowing children to take part or observe as they feel on the day. Our aim is to create a welcoming space where children can grow in confidence and enjoy being creative together.
TheTreeHouse may be a good fit for children who;
• Benefit from smaller group settings • Enjoy creative play and imaginative activities • Find larger clubs or busy environments overwhelming • Are developing confidence around others
Sessions are led by two experienced practitioners, ensuring each child feels supported throughout.
Is TheTreeHouse right for my child? TheTreeHouse is designed for children who can take part in a group setting with general adult support. Children should be able to manage personal care with minimal assistance. Where helpful, carers are welcome to stay to support a child in settling into the session.
Our sessions will be held at Creative Space Centre, 10 Pedders Lane, Preston PR2 2TH every Monday 4pm-5.30pm. There is a self service cafe which families are welcome to use whilst pupils work with us for the session, We will be offering a course in Spring 2026, the course will be six sessions and payment for the course will be £90 per pupil (£15 per session)
